Funding
Current Funding
The Forum's current funding is a combination of grants and ongoing income from membership subscriptions. The Forum currently receives £93,000 per year core funding grant from the Scottish Executive’s Unified Voluntary Sector Fund. In 2007, we were awarded a 3 year grant of £98,100 (£32,700 per year) from the Big Lottery Young People’s Fund. Membership income currently stands at £27,000 per year.
Fundraising Goals
The Forum aims to secure its long term funding by continuing to seek longer term funding for specific areas of work or projects.
Additional funding is being sought in order to expand key areas of the Forum's activities such as:
- Throughcare & aftercare training and practice development
- Promoting the participation of young people who have been looked after
- Improving the level of information sharing, especially via publications and our website
